From July 1st 2026:

Intake assessment - 75 minutes - $343.75
Standard individual therapy session - 50 minutes - $275.00

Extendeded therapy sessions (75/90/120 minutes) are also
available and are charged at the hourly rate

Fees are payable at the time of consultation.

Medicare Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP)

You may be eligible for a MHTP, which provides a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per session (expected to increase to $149.05 from 1st July 2026) . Your GP or psychiatrist can provide you with a MHTP addressed to Dr Carly Fay.

Rebates are available for telephone, online and face-to-face appointments. For further information, please see here: https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/mental-health-treatment-plan

Please note: you do not need a MHTP or GP referral to access psychological therapy.

Private Health Insurance

If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you may be able to claim back part of your session fee. Contact your private health fund to see if you are eligible.

Please note: you are not able to claim a Medicare rebate and a private health fund rebate for any one session. The rebates must be applied separately.
